The service

Lektiv is a mobile app that gives private tutors a lesson schedule, lesson records, communication with parents and a private payment ledger. Parents follow their children's lessons in the app. The app does not collect money; payments between the teacher and the parent happen outside the app.

Account

• You sign up with your Google or Apple account; there is no separate password. You are responsible for keeping that account secure.
• The teacher is responsible for the accuracy of the student and parent details they add, and for having the right to enter them in the app. A student under 18 is linked to a parent after the parent gives consent through the invite link. An adult student without a parent opens their own account through the invite link the teacher sends.

Rules of use

You may not use the app in a way that breaks the law, infringes the rights of others or disrupts the service. Messages to parents may not contain links, phone numbers or payment details; such messages are not sent.

Fees

The core features of the app are free. Lektiv Pro is a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription bought only through the App Store or Google Play; the price is shown in the store and in the app before you buy. New subscribers may get a free trial. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or the current period, the subscription starts as a paid subscription and renews every period; the charge is made to your store account. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Refund requests are handled by the store's own process.

Content and data

The content you enter (lesson records, notes, messages) belongs to you. It is processed only as far as needed to provide the service; the details are in the Privacy Policy.

Liability

We run the app with care but cannot guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Whether reminders and notifications arrive on time also depends on the device and network; following lessons and payments is ultimately the teacher's responsibility. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage.

Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time (see Account deletion). We may close accounts that seriously breach these terms.

Changes and governing law

If these terms change, the version date is updated and the app asks for your consent again. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
